¡Is it true!? This is an independent, full CG monster film ! ¡

The monster film. It is a genre which is unique and peculiar to Japan. We decided to make a short monster film that uses full-CG. This is a daring, foolhardy independent project. From the monster to machinery, the characters, background, and small articles, we created everything with CG. "NEGADON - the Monster from Mars" is a "digital monster film", a film for the future.

A film always has a concept or a theme. As they become more straight and simple, they are manly. What we want to say is that a masculine film like this does not need a stylish phrase or a difficult logic. We would like to make an entertainment film for all generations, from kids to the elderly to enjoy. Plus, if you have grown up in the middle of the 20th century, we are sure that you can enjoy the film ten times as much as the others. Did you used to dream of going to space by a rocket, fighting against a space monster with the latest jet fighter, or riding in a gigantic robot and beating an evil monster to the punch? This is the very movie for you.

cHowever, after seeing the film, maybe you will find out that "NEGADON" depicts a theme which is very universal, and fits the world situation of today. It is useless to write the theme of this film here. So please watch it, and get the theme by yourself.

¡The pros and cons !? What are digital special effects ?¡

The history of special effects is also the history of achieving fresh expression with the advent of new technologies. Therefore, it is no wonder in us making a special effects full CG monster film. We could perhaps call this destiny.

At the same time, you will question the full CG production. "Can you keep the handmade taste of a special effects film? ", "Do you have the unique quality that comes from film?" and so onc

Don't worry. "NEGADON" sought a "handmade" taste as much as possible. We then developed an original, unique expression with CG which we have never seen before. Another point is that we researched our original effects filters for a year, and finally achieved a film-like quality.

We started making "NEGADON" in April, 2003. It took about two and a half years, including the pre-production. Soon the whole story will be released. However, it is not so easy to clear the final hurdle. Will producers resolve problems before releasing the film? Or, will they be defeated and fall at the feet of the monster? In the spring of 2005, the 50th year of monster films, you will see the special effects monster film of new generation. Please wait for the moment!!
